Mr. Amar Naseer is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and also earned a Master of Laws (LL.M) from University College London in International Business Law. His educational endeavours also include certification examination of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants, USA, and Mediator Certification from Singapore International Mediation Centre. He was awarded Britannia Chevening Scholarship (UK) in 1997. He has more than 30 years of experience in the area of corporate laws, civil litigation, financial transactions, M&A, taxation, compliance and corporate & regulatory affairs. He has several cases reported in law journals to his credit. In the past he has worked in Pakistan, Middle East, Africa and USA, including stints at Unilever, Ernst & Young, Civil Aviation Authority, and Pakistan Banking Council. He gained professional expertise by virtue of active and senior level involvement in Merger of Companies, Divestment of Business, Listing issues of public companies, JV formations, formation of companies, shareholder arrangements, inspection of financial institutions, compliance audits, and advocacy for major MNCs and FMCGs. Amar has also been associated as visiting faculty member for various professional organizations and educational institutions, including Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, Institute of Business Administration, and University of Karachi. He has been involved in rolling law programs/initiatives with CLDP (Commercial Law Development Program, USA), and Continuing Legal Education Institute (CLEIP, Pakistan).
